MAP visited the local office of California Assemblymember Evan Low to discuss the issues of Human Trafficking, Environmental Justice, Criminal Justice Reform, and Immigration.
Delancey Street Experience 2017
MAP visited Delancey Street in San Francisco to learn about the criminal justice system in America and how the people of Delancey Street have changed the concept of rehabilitation.
Washington D.C. Advocacy Trip 2017
MAP students traveled to our nation's capital to speak with legislators on our 4 issues, ideas for potential policies, and the state of national legislation in the current political climate.
Human Trafficking Workshop in the Faith Formation Conference 2017
Neharika, Arushi, and Kristie presented on MAP's work on the issue of Human Trafficking. The goal of this workshop was to inform others on our work as a Catholic high school and gain knowledge of how other organizations are tackling this issue in their own communities.
Farmworkers Reality Tour
We visited a farm in Watsonville and met with agricultural workers there. The goal of this visit was to understand the depth of the issues and injustices faced by our nation's immigrant farmers.

We voted on and selected 4 issues and choose issue teams and project teams.
CYAN Sacramento Trip 2017
We went to California's capitol, Sacramento, to the Catholic Youth Advocacy Network conference where we presented on the 4 issues we worked on in the 2016-2017 school year. Then, we went to the Capitol Building to speak to California assemblymembers, such as Evan Low and Kansen Chu, about our issues: Human Trafficking, Criminal Justice Reform, Immigration, and Mental Health Reform.
